1. Who this agreement is between
FiveUnity is operated by Sheisty Development ("we", "us"). These terms apply to you, the person who adds the FiveUnity bot to a Discord server, subscribes on behalf of that server, or signs in to the web dashboard. If you are acting for a community or business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf. Using the bot or the dashboard means you accept them.
2. What the service is
FiveUnity is a Discord bot plus a web dashboard for administering a Discord community and, optionally, a connected FiveM game server. We host the bot and the dashboard. You supply the Discord server, and where you use the game features, your own FiveM server and the FiveUnity resource that runs on it. Features are described on this site and in the documentation, and they change over time as the product develops.
3. Your account and permissions
- Discord is the login. There is no separate FiveUnity password. Anyone with Administrator or Manage Server on a Discord server can configure FiveUnity for it, so control your Discord roles accordingly.
- You are responsible for your staff. Settings changed by anyone you have given those permissions to are treated as changed by you.
- Discord’s own rules still apply. You must keep to Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using FiveUnity. We cannot restore a Discord server that Discord itself removes.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Priced per Discord server. A subscription unlocks FiveUnity on the one server it was bought for. Side Discords linked to a licensed server inherit its subscription; separate main servers each need their own.
- Two plans. Premium unlocks the whole product. Pro adds the AI Assistant features (ticket summaries, the in-ticket first responder, and AI keyword answers) and the server.cfg Log Builder. AI features additionally need a Google Gemini API key that you supply.
- Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Prices are shown before checkout and are charged in the currency displayed there. Taxes may be added at checkout where they apply.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. A monthly plan renews every month and a quarterly plan every three months, on the same payment method, until you cancel. Renewal prices are the prices in force on the renewal date; we will tell you before a price rise takes effect for you.
- Failed payments. Stripe retries a failed payment for a short period. If it keeps failing, the subscription lapses and paid features stop. Your settings are kept, so paying again restores the server as it was.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from the Billing tab of the server in your dashboard, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not pro-rated. When it ends, paid features stop and the bot leaves paid functionality behind, but your configuration is kept so that resubscribing picks up where you left off. Removing the bot from Discord does not cancel billing on its own: cancel in the portal as well.
6. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: a first purchase can be refunded within 7 days if the bot was not used in a live server, renewals are not refundable, and a chargeback suspends the server it relates to.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use FiveUnity to break the law, to harass people, or to distribute malware, stolen credentials or stolen game assets.
- Do not use the bot or the API to mass-DM, scrape Discord, or evade Discord’s rate limits and anti-spam systems.
- Do not resell, sublicense or rent access to FiveUnity, and do not present it as your own product.
- Do not attempt to break into the hosted service, other customers’ data, or parts of the API you have not been granted.
- Your content stays yours. Ticket transcripts, documentation pages, embeds and settings belong to you. You are responsible for what your members post and for having the right to use anything you upload or configure.
8. AI features
The AI Assistant is off until an administrator turns it on, supplies a Google Gemini API key, and accepts the in-dashboard data-use notice. When it is on, message content from the relevant channel or ticket is sent to Google to produce the reply or summary. Log Builder sends only log convar names and section headings, not values or webhook tokens. Google’s handling of that content is governed by Google’s own terms, which for the free tier include using content to improve their products. AI answers are generated text and can be wrong; they are not advice, and they do not commit us or you to anything.
9. Availability and support
We aim to answer support requests within 24 hours. That is a target we hold ourselves to, not a contractual service level, and it does not include a guaranteed fix time. FiveUnity depends on Discord, Stripe, Google and our hosting providers, and can be interrupted when they are. We may take the service down for maintenance and will keep it as short as we reasonably can.
10. Changes to the service and these terms
We add, change and occasionally remove features. If we remove something you rely on, or change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will announce it in the FiveUnity Discord before it takes effect. Continuing to use FiveUnity after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, cancel and the subscription ends at the end of the current period.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access for a server that breaks section 7, that charges back a payment, or whose use puts the service or other customers at risk. Where the problem can be fixed we will say what needs to change first. You may stop using FiveUnity at any time by cancelling and removing the bot.
12. Warranties and liability
FiveUnity is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not responsible for what happens inside your Discord server or your game server as a result of settings you choose: for example roles granted by a self-role panel, members removed by anti-raid, or a whitelist that lets somebody in. Take a backup before large changes; the Backups page exists for exactly that. To the extent the law allows, Sheisty Development is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost revenue, or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected server in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the place where Sheisty Development is established. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protections you have under the law of the country where you live.
