Staff logs
The staff log finder keeps a searchable record of what your staff do, and answers questions about it in plain English: "who deleted #announcements", "what did Bob do this week", "every ban in the last three days". Only the server owner, and the people the owner picks, can read it.

The staff log finder needs the Pro plan. On Premium nothing is recorded; the page and the commands say so rather than pretending. See Plans and billing.
#What is recorded
FiveUnity already writes a log line to your log channels when staff do things. The finder keeps a copy of every line that describes staff activity, whether or not you have a log channel configured for it:

A member joining, a nickname change, a boost or a message edit is not staff activity and is never recorded here. Errors and ticket reviews are not recorded either.
Each entry keeps the same text the log channel would have shown, plus who did it, who or what it was done to, and the channel, so you can filter on them.
#Who can search
This is the one setting in FiveUnity that no permission group can hand out. The finder exists to audit the people who hold those groups, so:
- The server owner can always search.
- Anyone else can search only if the owner has put them on the viewer list.
- Discord's Administrator permission does not bypass the list. An administrator who is not a viewer is refused like anyone else.
Managers can still open the page and change the ordinary settings below; only the owner can change the viewer list, on the dashboard or with /logs stafflogs setup, which offers a member picker. The list holds up to 25 people.
#Searching
Type what you want to know. The finder turns the sentence into a search, runs it over the ledger, and shows the matching entries newest first. With the AI Assistant configured it also writes a short answer that cites the entries it used, and those entries are shown first, marked with a star.

In Discord, /logs stafflogs find question: does the same, with user:, category: and days: options, and /logs stafflogs recent lists the latest entries with the same filters and no question. Replies are private, and the entries page with ◀ Prev / Next ▶ buttons.
Without the AI Assistant, or with AI answers switched off, the search still runs as a plain keyword search across every stream and tells you that is what it did. When nothing matches every term at once, the narrowest terms are dropped and the reply says it widened the search, so check those entries carefully.
An AI answer is written from the entries and nothing else. Read it against the entries shown; the answer is a summary, the ledger is the record.
#Settings

#Privacy
Entries contain member names, ids and the reasons staff typed. They are kept for the retention window and then dropped, and they are deleted with everything else by a factory reset. AI answers send only the matching entries to Google, at most 50 of them, each on a single line, with email addresses, IP addresses and tokens removed first. They need the same data-use consent as every other AI feature. See Privacy and your data.
