Channel setup

Draft Discord categories and text or forum channels from a plain-English description, review every create and permission, then apply once. Create-only on purpose.

Needs: the Pro plan, a working AI Assistant key, and the channel-setup permission (Head Admin on the default ladder; the server owner and Discord Administrators always qualify). Manage Server alone is not enough. Grant it under Permissions.

#What you can ask for

Examples:

  • "Create a public FiveM business category with 5 channels for announcements, owner applications, business listings, staff help, and questions."
  • "Set up a public Bug Reports category with a forum called bug-reports and text channels for known-issues and bug-report-rules."
  • "Create a private Police Command category for the Command role with channels for command-chat, incident-reviews, and meeting-notes."

Public categories are open to every member. Private categories deny View Channel to @everyone and allow only the existing access roles you pick; the flow never creates roles.

#Section backups

Above the AI form, Save channel backup stores the current Discord channel layout (up to five backups). Restore merges missing categories and channels from that snapshot back in; it does not delete channels created after the backup. Use this before applying a plan you are unsure about.

#Safety locks

Typed confirmationApplying requires typing CREATE CHANNELS exactly, in addition to the usual plan-hash approval.

RollbackIf a later Discord create fails, channels and categories this plan already created are deleted.

Category and channel names (and role names for private access) are sent to Google Gemini with your request; member messages are not.

#How it works

  1. Optionally save a channel backup.
  2. Describe the layout and press Draft secure layout.
  3. Review the plan and the explicit list of creates and permissions. Refine in chat or answer role pickers when a name is missing or ambiguous.
  4. When the plan is ready, type CREATE CHANNELS and press Apply approved layout.
  5. The bot creates categories and channels one at a time, then checks they exist.
