Modules and utilities

The Modules page holds the smaller helpers: chat auto-replies, sticky messages, live stat counters, the translator, suggestions and feedback, and the defaults for gangs and departments.

#Utility toggles

Six switches that turn a whole helper on or off for the server. Nothing is deleted when you switch one off: if rows are already set up, the page tells you how many and asks you to confirm.

ToggleOff means
Sticky messagesSticky messages stop re-posting, and the last copy stays where it is.
Stats channelsStats channels stop updating and keep their current names.
Keyword responderThe bot stops replying to keywords in chat.
Polls/poll refuses to run.
Giveaways/giveaway refuses to run, and the Enter button on a live giveaway stops working.
TranslatorThe translator stops, for both auto-translate and the reaction translate.

Press Save settings after changing them. The same switches sit behind /setup โ†’ Utility in Discord.

#Suggestions and feedback

SettingWhat it does
Suggestions enabledTurns /suggest on. While it is off the command replies that suggestions are disabled.
Suggestions channelWhere suggestions are posted.
Auto threadOpens a discussion thread on every suggestion, archived after a day.
Feedback channelThe channel recorded for staff feedback. /feedback-admin setup creates a private staff-feedback channel under a hidden Bot Logs category and selects it.

/suggest suggestion: posts an embed with the member's name, a Pending status and ๐Ÿ‘ / ๐Ÿ‘Ž reactions for voting. /suggest setup enable: channel: autothread: does the same setup from Discord.

Staff review a suggestion with /suggest manage message_id: status: reason:: Approve, Deny or Implement. The embed is recoloured and its Status and Reason fields updated in place. Both admin commands need Discord's Administrator permission.

Tip

Star ratings and written feedback from closed tickets go to the review log, not to the Feedback channel. See Core settings.

#Gangs and departments defaults

Gangs has its own switch plus a Manager role, a Log channel, and a Leave cooldown (hours): how long a member must wait before joining another gang, 168 (seven days) by default, 0 to disable, up to 2160. Full guide: Gangs.

Departments module defaults sets a Default on-duty role and a Fallback log channel for departments that do not set their own. Full guide: Departments.

#Keywords

Auto-replies when a member says a keyword. The bot answers with a "๐Ÿ’ก Quick Response" embed, and any #channel-name you write in the response is turned into a real channel link.

SettingWhat it does
New keywordThe word or phrase to watch for, up to 64 characters. Case does not matter and each keyword can only exist once per server.
MatchContains matches anywhere, including inside words. Word matches whole words only. Exact matches the whole message.
Answer withFixed reply sends the response below. AI writes a fresh answer from your knowledge base.
ResponseThe reply, up to 1,000 characters. In AI mode this becomes the fallback.
Cooldown (seconds)Stops one channel triggering the same keyword repeatedly. 0 for none, up to 3600.
Extra instruction for the AIAI mode only. Steers this one answer; the facts still come from the knowledge base. Up to 500 characters.

Six ready-made keywords (apply, rules, support, ip, report and tebex) appear as Add "โ€ฆ" buttons under Defaults not yet added.

A fixed reply always wins over an AI reply when both match, and an AI keyword falls back to its written response whenever AI is off or over budget. AI replies need the AI Assistant enabled with key phrases switched on (see AI Assistant) and are a Pro feature.

In Discord: /keyword create, /keyword edit, /keyword delete, /keyword list, /keyword defaults.

#Sticky messages

Keeps a message glued to the bottom of a channel. Pick a Channel, write the Message (up to 2,000 characters) and press Set sticky message. Every time someone posts in that channel the bot deletes its old copy and posts it again underneath, as an embed footed "๐Ÿ“Œ Sticky Message".

Preview, under the message box, draws that embed as Discord will render it: markdown, <#channel> and <@&role> mentions, custom emoji, and the pin footer. @everyone and @here appear split by an invisible character, which is how they are posted, so a sticky can never ping the server.

To change a saved sticky, press Edit on its row in the list below, or click the row itself. The channel is locked while you edit, and two buttons decide what Discord sees:

ButtonWhat it does
Save changesEdits the copy already in the channel, so the sticky keeps its place. Use it for a typo or a wording fix.
Save and re-postDeletes that copy and posts the message again at the bottom, so members see it arrive.

If the posted copy has been deleted from Discord, either button posts a new one. Cancel drops the edit and returns the form to writing a new sticky.

Remove deletes the stored sticky and the posted copy. In Discord: /sticky set channel: message: and /sticky remove channel:.

#Stats channels

Voice channels whose names show a live count. Members cannot connect to them; the name is the whole point.

Create default set builds a ๐Ÿ“Š Server Stats category with four channels: ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Members: {count}, ๐ŸŸข Online: {count}, ๐Ÿš€ Boosts: {count} and ๐ŸŽค In VC: {count}.

To add one yourself pick a Stat type, write a Name template containing {count}, and press Create stat channel:

Stat typeCounts
totalMembersEveryone in the server.
onlineMembersMembers currently online, idle or do-not-disturb, bots excluded.
roleCountMembers holding the role you pick.
membersInVcMembers in voice channels.
boostCountActive boosts.
bannedMembersBanned users.
textChannelCountText channels.
voiceChannelCountVoice channels.

Counts refresh every 10 minutes, and immediately whenever you add or delete one. /statschannel force-update refreshes this server's channels on demand; /statschannel setup, create and delete mirror the buttons. Running the default setup again only fills in the channels you are missing. Deleting a row deletes the Discord channel too.

#Translator

SettingWhat it does
Auto-translate messagesReplies to messages that are not in the target language with a translation embed.
Translate on flag reactionMembers react with ๐ŸŒ and the bot DMs them the translation, in the server's Auto-translate target language.
Auto-translate target languageA language code such as en, es or fr.
Ignored channelsChannels auto-translate leaves alone. Up to 50.
Add conversationA channel plus Language A and Language B. Up to 25.

In a conversation channel, anything written in one of the two languages is re-posted translated into the other, footed "Translated from XX to YY". A conversation channel takes priority over auto-translate.

In Discord: /translate auto toggle, /translate auto ignore-channel, /translate reaction toggle, /translate conversation start language: and /translate conversation stop.

#Giveaways and polls

Both are commands with no dashboard panel of their own: the switches above are all there is to configure.

/giveaway start prize: duration: winners: channel: posts a gold embed with an Enter button. Durations look like 30m, 1h or 2d. The bot checks for finished giveaways every 30 seconds, draws the winners at random from everyone who pressed Enter (each member counts once), edits the embed to "Giveaway Ended!" and congratulates the winners in the channel. Fewer entrants than prizes simply means fewer winners.

/poll question: channel: option-1: option-2: takes up to five options and posts an embed with 1๏ธโƒฃ - 5๏ธโƒฃ reactions already added for voting. At least two options are required.
